About Dr. Lanaville

Licensed in North Carolina and Virginia, and located in the Roanoke, Virginia, area, I provide Parental Capacity Evaluations, civil/criminal assessments in court cases such as mental status, insanity, competency, and trauma therapy/assessment.

Having over 15 years of education and experience, I specialize in forensic and clinical assessments, domestic violence cases, child abuse, and general individual needs for therapy.

My goals are to help you navigate difficult and sensitive issues either through therapy or assessment, and potentially help you to the other side of those issues. You’re stronger than you realize, and you’re not alone.

My work since 1997 includes law enforcement, psychology, and individual/group treatment. My work has include criminal justice/psychology fields with probation/parole, corrections psychology, individual/group treatment, and rehabilitation.

In therapy, we’ll deal with complicated and sensitive needs, and we’ll work towards a more confident and healed you.
